PERFECT PARFAITS








PARFAIT


4-6 cups of your favorite berries (could be a mix or just one)

8 Golden Graham Cookies (chocolate or regular honey)

1 bag of frozen strawberries

3 tablespoons sugar

1 large container of full fat Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons Vanilla extract



DIRECTIONS

  1. In a saucepan add frozen strawberries and 3 tablespoons of sugar. Cook under medium/low heat stirring frequently until strawberries breakdown and a syrup forms with the juices. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.

  2. In a medium bowl mix yogurt and vanilla, set aside.

  3. If you are planning to use the Graham Crackers, place a few rectangles in a ziplock bag and using your hands break up the crackers into small pieces or bang the bag on the counter a few times.

  4. Build the Parfaits: Set tall water glasses (or mason jars) on your counter and add a full tablespoon of strawberry sauce. Then add a few berries and a tablespoon of granola followed by 2 tablespoons of yogurt. Repeat until you get to the top of your glass. You should end with yogurt.


OPTIONAL: Sprinkle a large pinch of Graham Cracker crumbs on top. Place parfaits in fridge until you are ready to serve.
